| dave Besseling... this fellow was good enough to provide a killer end graphic for my latest micro-piece... a music clip for a band in new zealand called "the black seeds" ... i asked DB for an eden-ish landscape replete with apple tree - and he ignored my request! opting to supply me a dave besseling original instead! haha! an ornate and filigreed backdrop of foetuses entwined in burgeoning blossoms and corpusculating proboscuses - with some kind of god/adam pair reaching out to one another twixt the blood vessels and capilliaries... oh, and don't forget the tree! - in all it's gnarlificient splendour... see the video at www.underbelly.co.nz
in return for his hard scribbling i did order and buy his entire collection of musings and scrapings in written form - and it has been invading my psyche ever since - i read it a little bit at a time in between baby changes burps and my own ablutions - it's good to have a page-turner near the thunderbox - encourages one to relax and let any stored unnecessary things depart... i bid you go now to dave's website and order his book!..
